We invite you to join Path to Open Books on JSTOR, a new collaboration with university presses that addresses the challenges of funding OA books in the humanities and social sciences.
Starting in the fall of 2023, libraries will acquire unlimited, exclusive access to high-quality frontlist Path to Open Books on JSTOR every year. Three years after publication, the titles will then be released openly to the world.
In alignment with JSTOR’s mission, this model provides a pathway for equitable access and impact for the entire scholarly community:
- University presses can publish open access books sustainably
- Libraries acquire affordable, high-quality frontlist titles
- Readers worldwide gain access to valuable content
- Authors reach a global audience
