JSTOR recently joined the Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB) Trusted Platform Network, a global initiative bringing together platforms committed to maintaining the highest standards in open access (OA) book publishing.

Florida Virtual Campus joins Path to Open

JSTOR selected as library resource for the College Board’s AP African American Studies Course

JSTOR—with its vast collections of journals, books, and primary sources—is designed to support students doing college level coursework and research. Now, through an arrangement with the College Board, high school teachers and students taking the new Advanced Placement® African American Studies course in the 2024-2025 academic year will have free access to JSTOR to enrich their learning experience.

More than 500,000 incarcerated learners now have access to the digital library

At the end of 2023, JSTOR—a vast digital library of secondary and primary sources to support teaching and learning—reached a once unimaginable goal: providing JSTOR access in 1,000 prisons. ITHAKA unveils results of three-year pilot at CNI Fall 2023

Libraries use a variety of systems and tools to build, manage, provide access to, preserve, and distribute digital versions of their special and primary source collections.
