In this comprehensive exploration, we will delve into what open access is and how JSTOR, our renowned digital library, is playing a crucial role in facilitating open access for academic journals, books, art, and research reports.

Preserved collections were launched with Portico as part of ITHAKA’s suite of infrastructure services. Preserved collections provides long-term digitally managed preservation for institutions’ digital collections with Portico. The service is designed to be flexible, so that it can be taken up on its own or integrated with ITHAKA’s other infrastructure services and work as part of institutions’ existing workflows. 

Growing up in Miami, Florida, surrounded by Caribbean cultures across the diaspora, I developed a strong sense of identity as a proud Caribbean creative, a Belizean Cuban American designer.
