In 2021 we launched a project to bring Artstor’s high-quality images to JSTOR and to develop features and functionality on JSTOR for working with text and images. More than 2.5 million of these images are discoverable on JSTOR–all rights cleared for education and research–bringing them together with critical text-based scholarship and complementary primary sources.

Institutions are already seeing increased usage of Artstor content now that it’s available on both platforms. As the year progresses, we will be adding more collections, tools for working and teaching with images, and integrated reporting across content types, making your experience even better.
