Beyond journals and ebooks: How to get the most of JSTOR
CzechELib members that are not yet JSTOR participants can opt in for a complimentary trial of the journal archive collections and Artstor through June 2021.
We invite you to explore the topics and resources we covered in our presentation.
JSTOR is a digital library for the intellectually curious. We provide a platform for discovering and connecting research, images, and primary sources. As a not-for-profit, we partner with libraries, museums, and publishers to reduce costs, extend access, and preserve scholarship for the future. We do this because we believe in the power of knowledge to change the world for the better.
Discover the visual side of JSTOR, including artwork, newspapers, manuscripts, photographs, and other artifacts contributed by libraries, museums, archives, and historical societies around the world.
Our program offers more than 100,000 ebooks from renowned scholarly publishers, integrated with journals and primary sources on JSTOR’s easy-to-use platform. We focus on delivering great content and experiences to researchers—and great value to academic libraries.
The most extensive image resource for educational and scholarly use brings together media from top museums, archives, scholars, and artists, with a specialized suite of tools for teaching and learning with visual materials.
Expand the reach of your digitized collections where scholars and students begin their research, particularly in humanities and social sciences. Your collections will be integrated and cross-searchable with the wide array of journals, books, primary sources, and images on JSTOR.
Our partnerships with libraries and publishers help us make journals, books, images, and research reports discoverable and freely accessible worldwide
To support our institutions during this challenging time, JSTOR and our participating publishers are making an expanded set of content freely available to our participating institutions where students have been displaced due to COVID-19. We have also opened content and expanded access for non-participants.
Our Trustees approved a relief initiative to mitigate the financial impact of COVID-19 on our participants. Subscribing CzechELib institutions will receive a 5% fee offset to one year of JSTOR and Artstor annual access fees which may be applied to licensing additional resources, including Books at JSTOR.
A selection of checklists, webinars, and reminders all in one place to help you get the most out of your access to JSTOR and Artstor and get you ready for the challenges of the new year.
