Higher education institutions participating in JSTOR are invited to request early access to two groundbreaking initiatives:

Pioneer the future of academic research

Be among the first to offer your institution access to JSTOR’s interactive research tool in beta. Powered by AI, this new platform toolset enhances research practices and skill development in the humanities, arts, and social sciences by providing insights that deepen the research process without oversimplifying it.

Note: Only current JSTOR-participating higher education institutions are eligible. Early access will begin in late 2024 as we move toward access for all participants.

Transform digital collections processing at your library

Explore our upcoming software that uses AI to generate descriptive metadata and valuable insights from your unprocessed digital archives, enabling you to accelerate labor-intensive workflows to understand and provide access to your digital collections more efficiently.

Note: Early access to the digital collections processing prototype will be available from January through March 2025 to help refine the final product ahead of its Spring launch.

Important: Early access to the research tool and/or collection processing tool will not be granted immediately and is not guaranteed. If your institution is selected for early access, you will receive additional communication when access has been granted.

Note: Items marked with * are required.
