JSTOR for Higher Education

JSTOR has proudly served the higher education community for years, building collections and services based on their research needs and feedback. We are grateful for the support and encouragement that JSTOR has received from the higher education community and look forward to growing with them in the coming years. 

JSTOR classifications for U.S. higher education institutions are based on the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education.  Using this independent standard for classification allows JSTOR to assign classification based on the level of research being done at those institutions.
